To install LapisTV on your Roku device or Roku TV, you will need to use a compatible media player from the Roku Channel Store that supports the Xtream Codes API. Since Roku’s operating system is more restrictive than Android-based devices (like Firestick), you cannot “sideload” the LapisTV app directly. Instead, you’ll use an authorized player like Smarters Player Lite or IPTV Smarters LITE to access the service.

🛠️ Installation Steps

1. Install a Player from the Roku Store

  • On your Roku home screen, go to Search.
  • Type in “Smarters Player Lite” or “IPTV Smarters LITE”.
  • Select the app and click Add Channel.
  • Once installed, select Go to channel to launch it.

2. Enter Your Login Details

When the app opens, you will be prompted to add a new user. Choose the option “Login with Xtream Codes API”. You will need to enter the following (remember that these are case-sensitive):
Field What to Enter
Any Name (Optional) You can type “LapisTV”
Username Your LapisTV username
Password Your LapisTV password
Server URL The LapisTV server URL provided to you
[!IMPORTANT] Ensure you double-check your username and password for capital letters, as the login will fail if the casing does not match exactly.

3. Load Your Content

  • Click Add User.
  • The app will take a moment to download the channels, movies, and series from the LapisTV server.
  • Once finished, you can select Live TVMovies, or Series to start watching.

To set up Smarter Player Lite for LapisTV, I’ve put together this updated guide based on our current 2026 standards. As we’ve streamlined the process, you’ll notice we no longer require a “Playlist Name” or “Server URL” for this specific setup—making it much quicker to get to your content.

📥 Step 1: Download & Installation

Depending on your device, follow the corresponding method below:

For Android (Phone, Tablet, or TV Box)

  1. Open the Google Play Store.

  2. Search for “Smarter Player Lite” (look for the icon by WHMCS SMARTERS).

  3. Tap Install.

For iOS (iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV)

  1. Open the Apple App Store.

  2. Search for “Smarter Player Lite”.

  3. Tap Get to download and install.

For Amazon Firestick / Fire TV

  1. Go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options.

    • Note: If you don’t see Developer Options, go to About and click your device name 7 times.

  2. Enable Apps from Unknown Sources.

  3. Open the Downloader app (available in the Amazon App Store).

  4. Enter the official APK download code for Smarters Lite (commonly 5546232 or the direct URL provided by LapisTV) and select Go.

  5. Install the APK once the download finishes.

🔑 Step 2: Logging into LapisTV

Once the app is installed, open it and follow these specific login steps. Note: Per our updated configuration, we are skipping the redundant server and name fields.

  1. Accept Terms: On the first launch, click Accept on the Terms of Use.

  2. Add User: Select the option to “Login with Xtream Codes API”.

  3. Enter Credentials: You will see a login screen. Enter only the following:

    • Username: Enter your LapisTV username.

    • Password: Enter your LapisTV password.

  4. Finalize: Click Add User.

[!IMPORTANT] Because we have streamlined the LapisTV profile, the app should automatically resolve the server connection without you needing to manually type in a URL or Playlist Name.

📺 Step 3: Loading Content

  1. Select your newly created profile.

  2. The app will begin “Downloading Live Channels, Movies, and Series.”

  3. Wait for the progress bars to finish (this usually takes 30–60 seconds depending on your internet speed).

  4. You are now ready to watch!
